Beautiful Spring Wedding at Hilltop Country House – Abby & Andy

On a gorgeous spring day, Abby and Andy celebrated their wedding at the stunning Hilltop Country House, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Andy looked incredibly smart in his full formal uniform, while Abby enjoyed the most chilled-out bridal prep, doing her own makeup with ease and grace.

As guests began to arrive, so did Abby’s beautiful bouquet and flowers — and they were absolutely lovely.

The ceremony took place in the bright and airy Garden Room, with early spring sunshine streaming through the grand bay windows. It was the perfect backdrop!

After a big group photo with all their loved ones, Abby and Andy were showered in confetti — a favourite moment of mine to photograph!

With glasses of champagne in hand, I took the newlyweds for a relaxed portrait session around the gardens. Hilltop Country House was full of colour, with daffodils in full bloom creating the dreamiest setting for their couple shots.

Back on the lawn, the guests enjoyed garden games and each other’s company in the lovely afternoon sunshine. I captured it all in my signature documentary style — real moments, relaxed and full of feeling.

Later, everyone gathered in the marquee for the speeches and wedding breakfast. The speeches were sincere and personal (I recorded them and turned them into a photo-film!), and Abby’s dad surprised her by displaying large prints of their favourite family photos — such a sweet touch.

As golden hour faded into night, the party really kicked off. After the cake was cut and the first dance was shared, Abby and Andy revealed their big surprise… Hilltop’s secret nightclub! With lasers, an old-school fog machine, and a packed dancefloor, it was the perfect way to end an unforgettable day.

I absolutely loved photographing this one — thank you Abby and Andy for having me!
